I set this site up in 2018 because I had developed a passion which I wanted to share with others. That passion is self-development.
Using a mindful approach to all things, I will explore with you how to make the most of your everyday life – how to set and keep to goals, how to make the most of any situation, and how to stay calm in the torrent of craziness that is the world!
I want to share my photography with you too and help you grow as a photographer. Whether you want to learn about photography, or work with me, you’ll find a lot on this site including plenty of posts about my photography and photography tips, my portfolio, and links to my print shop!
If that sounds interesting to you, then you are in the right place!
I want this site to be full of information from a variety of topics. In particular, I’ll be covering issues surrounding lifestyle, photography, mindfulness, health & fitness, and travel! To keep it more down to earth and relatable, I’ll be tying in plenty of m

I first became interested in mindfulness during my university days. It didn’t take long for that to blossom into a strong interest in self-development. But I won’t lie to you, it wasn’t always easy – or interesting!
After I finished my degree, I was set free into the world and everything it had to offer. I felt like I had unlimited time to do it all. Unfortunately, after many nights of drinking plenty and not worrying too much about the future, I realised that I had wasted time and hadn’t really made any progression in my life.
Perhaps saying that the time was wasted is a bit harsh. I certainly enjoyed myself, and at the time it is what I wanted to do. Life is for living, as they say, and there is nothing wrong with that.
I suppose my priorities just shifted around 2015. Suddenly I was mid-twenties and had no goals or real ambitions. My degree had gone to waste working in a job that required neither it or the skills I had learned.
With the help of those around me, I was able to refocus on what was important to me. Ultimately, that is living a happy life.
I set about on my task of achieving a happy life and discovered, that for me, a great way to do it was to keep learning and experience as much as I could. I went and got another degree, and started to learn everything I could about mindfulness and self-development.
By 2018, my life was on the up. Things were good! I decided to start to the site not only as a way to help others but also as a way to continue learning. The research that goes into each post continues to inform my actions and beliefs. Self-development is truly an endless journey!
